The BBMF's crest

The Battle of Britain Memorial Flight (BBMF) is a commemorative Royal Airforce (RAF) flight that provide displays and flypasts at airshows and other events. Based at RAF Conningsby Lincs, the flight are administratively part of RAF No.1 Group.

The BBMF can regularly be seen at airshows throughout the UK and Europe, events commemorating the Second World War and British state occasions such as Trooping the Colour and the Royal Wedding.

The Flight currently consists of 12 aircraft; six Supermarine Spitfires; two Hawker Hurricanes; a Avro Lancaster and a Douglas Dakota and two Dehavilland Chipmunks.
