Werknummer 494083 is a Junkers Ju 87 G-2 dive bomber that is on display at the Royal Air Force Museum in London. It is believed to have been built in 1943 or 1944, origianlly as a D-5 variant, which was designed for the ground attack role. It was later modified into a G-2, and captured by the Allies in German in May, 1945.[1]

This Ju 87 was one of 12 German aircraft selected by the British Air Ministry for museum display after the war. It was placed in the RAF Museum in 1978 after being displayed at various RAF bases for 30 years. It can be seen in the Battle of Britain Hall, along with a number of other rare WWII aircraft.
